my renault grand scenic 55 plate makes a loud whirring noise periodically?

my car which is a 2.0 16 v renault grand scenic 55 plate makes a loud whirring noise occasionally whilst driving which gets louder and also will disappear if you rev the engine. There is no fault light and when we took it to the garage for a diagnostic test they could find anything either. Any ideas?

    Well its because you drive it too much Or during the snow days The car Head gasket becames a hazard

    Well a 55 reg renault sicnerc Have problms with engines Its main DEATH TRAP is the fan belt If your fan belt is melting consult Your nearest dealer
