I have a Renault Scenic 1.9 dci with a lot of noisey vibrations from the auxillary belt .?

I changed the spring tensioner but it still went noisey but only at idle speed,could it be the alternator bearings or something more serious?

    Best thing to do is remove the belt completely and then spin the alternator to see if the bearings have any play on it.

    Your renault scenic probably needs a new belt and tensioner,this is a common problem,on the scenic
