Does it have a cassette player ?
If it does you can get an adapter – that’s how I do it with my Astra estate.

you can buy a cassette/cd which has a cable on it that plugs straight into the back of your i-pod…you just insert the cassette/cd into your sterio as normal and away you go….they can be bought from most stores these days ie Asda,Tescos,etc..i have a laguna with a tape deck, and play my i-pod using the cassette version, purchased from Asda for eight quid…..hope this helps…

i bought a transmitter of eBay for £4.50, you plug the player into it and that then transmits a radio signal that you tune the stereo in to, it works really well and its amazing how far away from the car you can be with the MP3 and still hear the music on the stereo (handy if you are out of the car having a picnic etc).

Mate I just bought a same car … In my car there is a device installed under the gear box manual… on the device it says MP3 / IPOD… I think the factory fits these If requested by the first owner … there might be one in your car as well!!!

you can get a lead that plugs into the back of your head unit.
it plugs into the socket where you would normally plug a cd changer into.
depending on which model you got wether it is a tuner list or an update list you can ge thtem from a comapny called connects 2 from between 15 and 30 pounds

    good luck
