    Phone Renault dealer for advice.

If there is a fluid level dip-stick tube, that’s where you add when the level is low. If there is no fluid level dip-stick or tube, it has a sealed transmission. Consult your Renault Dealer if you have a question to be absolutely sure.

you fill it where the dip stick is. make sure you have car running when you fill or check fluid

    Uk answer –
Unless you have the ability to get the car up off the ground to work under it safely and the car be flat and level while you do so it is not a DIY job.
Few home mechanics can do this so if you are like most of us and do not have a garage pit or a lift to get the car up you need to go to a garage.

    There is no dipstick tube.
There is a plug on the side of the gearbox through which the correct auto trans fluid is added until it overflows a little, done while the box is hot.

Exact age & model required – there are two different transmissions, one is filled via a tube, the other is filled from below.
