Can a Silver Cross freeway and Ventura car seat fit into a Renault Scenic?

Hi, bit backwards but we have a pram, we now need to find a car! Just wondered if anyone else had the same problem. Fingers crossed the pram will fit in the boot and the car seat too.....

I had to do a google search for the pram and carseat, the pram WILL fit but it will take up about half the boot of Scenic, that’s better than the 110% our first pram occupied of the boot of our Suzuki Vitara! It actually overhung the back seat!

The carseat SHOULD fit, the group 0 ones that have that weight range that I have seen fit into just about every car, when you trade up to a convertible I would definitely recommend getting it checked for fit before buying, although being a European car there SHOULD be enough room for the really high rear facing limit car seats!

I have the exact same travel system, a renault scenic is a big car, it should fit no problems, I had a citreon xsara both the car seat and the pram fitted in, I had stopped using the car seat by the time I had my other cars, a renault laguna then a honda accord and ive been able to fit the pram into the boot of them all (not that theres often room for much else mind you!) Its great pram system, my son still uses it in pushchair mode, and hes 2.5.

I had this problem also, we went to buy the SC pram and seat, but because we planned to buy the car a bit later, the lady in the shop didn’t want to sell it to us. She said the main problem is often the seat belts are not long enough to secure the seats because they are quite big car seats. Maybe when buying the car take the seat along with you to see if it fits. (at the end of the day it’ll be cheaper to buy another seat that fits safely as opposed to choosing a car around the seat if it doesn’t).
