The Renault Scenic is a Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV). The design of this model is based on that of a small family car. The first generation of Renault Scenic, which was launched in 1996; was sold by company until 2003. The design of the car was chalked out by the amaing designer Anne Asensio. The design of this auromobile was all most identical to the megane hatchback. When first manufactured, it was sold with 1.4 L, 1.6 L and 1.8 L petrol engine and 1.9 Turbo diesel engine. When Renault started the making it was produced at 450 units per day but it had to increase the capacity to 2500 units a day to meet with the huge market.
In 2003, renault launched a brand new version of the Scenic which is still been made today. The second version of the Scenic was named as Scenic II or Grand Scenic. The Grand Scenic was also come with a large wheelbase than the first version Scenic.
The all new Grand Scenic was numerous new features which were not included in the first version like keyless immobilizer, automatic parking brake, integrated LED lights and a brand new logo on various versions.
